About Goldcrest Nurseries

A Little Background Information

Goldcrest Nursery is privately owned. It originally opened in 1993 and has been under new management since October 2005.

The nurseries are open each weekday from 08.00 to 18.00 all year round (not including bank holidays)

We provide day-care facilities for children 3 months to 5 years and is Ofsted registered. Children are arranged into groups according to age and are supervised by trained nursery staff, each group having their own ‘Nursery Nurse’, children are assigned their own key person, who monitors the child’s well being on a day to day basis.

Goldcrest Day Nursery offers your child healthy social and educational experiences under qualified supervision in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Within the nursery, children are cared for and encouraged to participate in daily activities appropriate for their age and developmental level.

The Stanford-le-Hope nursery is situated in Runnymede Road, which is close to Stanford-le-Hope town centre and a 3-minute walk from the railway station. The nursery is a large detached house with a large garden, which makes it ideally suited as a nursery.

Our Billericay site is situated in the grounds of Sunnymede Junior and Infant Schools. Three large, self-contained classrooms create our nursery. We are surrounded by a large grassed play area, which is fenced off from the main Sunnymede School.
